BABY UPDATE!!!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that at my last Dr. appointment, she went ahead and scheduled me to be induced!!! Looks like Baby Denning will be here Friday, January 23rd unless he has plans to come sooner that is:) I guess I was spoiled with Walker's pregnancy because this one has been completely the opposite...very hard on me physically! No complications luckily, I'm just ready for him to be out!!! It would not surprise us if he does have plans to come sooner, so we will keep everyone updated as best we can!!

When I first told DJ about the date, he responded, "That's good...there's no football on that weekend!" So, let's hope that if Baby Denning does decide to come earlier that it will not be on a playoff day...please for my husband's sake and so that I can have a fully attentive husband at the hospital!!! LOL!

Christmas 2008

We have much to share about our Christmas this year so I thought I would just combine it all and tell you what all the pictures are. The pictures begin a few weeks before Christmas and then you will see our Christmas morning! We had a blessed Christmas...we truly do have so much to be thankful for! We hope all of our friends and family had a wonderful holiday season as well!!!










December 14...we had Christmas Brunch at Old Hickory Country Club and got to see Santa! That's all we did too...was look at Santa. Walker did not really want to have anything to do with Santa. We knew he probably wouldn't want to meet him, eventhough this year he really was excited about Santa coming. When the moment came to actually meet him, Walker wasn't quite ready!! Maybe next year:)

December 19...we went to the Grinch on ICE! at Opryland with my parents, Nanny and Papa. I walked through with them for a little while, but then had to go find a seat somewhere and get off my feetand out of the COLD!! They had a good time, despite the frigid temps!! Afterward we had lunch at the Aquarium Restaurant and went to the Conservatory...it was a good day.

Sesame Street Live!!

Last night we went to Sesame Street Live. This was our 2nd year going and he loves it! Even though Walker doesn't watch Sesame Street as much as he used to, he still had a great time. The highlight of his night was when Elmo came down our aisle and shook Walker's hand...he was so excited! His eyes lit up and he was so proud that he got to meet Elmo! Bert, Telly and the Count almost came to our seats, but Walker still got a great close up of them too. The next day at school the first thing Walker told his teacher was that he went to Sesame Street!!

Titans Thanksgiving!

We had a very untraditional Thanksgiving this year since the Titans played at 11:30! We all hung out at DJ's parents and watched the game and played football. We feasted on lasagna so that we wouldn't have to worry about cooking and could enjoy the game! This of course was Walker's perfect day since he got to watch and play football and see all of his family! We ended the day with a Titan's victory so everyone was happy and ready to eat...

Only 10 Weeks Left!!

Looks like we might be heading towards another 9+ lb baby boy!!

Today I had my 30 week appointment...I can't believe he is almost here! Everything seems to be going right in the same path as it was with Walker. I am, of course, measuring BIG...my tummy should be measuring approximately 30 cm and I am measuring 35 cm!! Dr. said we would do another ultrasound soon to see how "big" baby has gotten and then we will go from there to determine if I will be induced a little early as I was with Walker. We are excited for him to be here and trust me, I am ready!! This pregnancy has been so much harder than last time and I am ready to get back to normal activities such as exercising, shopping, playing and just not aching all the time and having heartburn! Luckily, I am not on any official restrictions, Dr. has just advised that I try and take it easy as much as possible so that I don't have to go on restrictions!

It will all be worth it come the end of January when our little guy is here!!

A Football Halloween!!

Walker loves his football and of course, he wanted to be a football player for Halloween!! The past week has been all about football! I can't resist sharing that Walker will lay a blanket down in our bonus room and pretend that it is his football field. He will play forever on the "field" with his giant giraffe that he tackles and his musical Titans figure! It is really a site to see!!
Walker about to begin trick-or-treating with his friends. When they were finished, all the other kids sat down to eat some of their candy and Walker was over in the grass playing football!! There must be something about having a football uniform on a little boy for it to keep him away from candy!! (Don't get me wrong, he wanted the candy later, but football came first!)

It's Getting Cold Outside!!

It is expected to get down in the low 30's tonight and soooo, I could not resist breaking out the footy pajamas!!! They are not the most cooperative PJ's when it comes to going potty, but Walker LOVES them! He will occasionally ask for his footy PJ's in the heat of summer! We were taking a bath tonight and I told him he could wear his footies and he was jumping out of the bathtub to put on his footy PJ's...oh to be 3 again!!

A Day at the Pumpkin Patch!

This Saturday Walker's godmother, Stephanie, and her girls visited and we went to the pumpkin patch! It was a gorgeous day. They had lots of fun stuff to do. The kids got to see, pet and feed farm animals. They had a toddler maze that they loved! Of course, we went on a hayride and we finished the day with picking out pumpkins and had a picnic in the shade!

Walker's 3rd Birthday Party

Walker's birthday party fell this year on his actual birthday...Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008. We had a great day! The theme was a football party with cupcakes, candies, and ice cream! We rented a HUGE inflatable slide for the yard and even the grown-ups had a good time! Walker received lots of fun new toys and the highlight of the day was his new F-150 Truck!!! Needless to say, everyone slept great that night after such a long day!
