Three Year Portraits

We just finished Walker's 3-year pictures...what a time deciding!!! Our little boy is becoming a young man...and it is happening way too fast! Hope you enjoy viewing as much as we did:)

Walker's birthday party fell this year on his actual birthday...Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008. We had a great day! The theme was a football party with cupcakes, candies, and ice cream! We rented a HUGE inflatable slide for the yard and even the grown-ups had a good time! Walker received lots of fun new toys and the highlight of the day was his new F-150 Truck!!! Needless to say, everyone slept great that night after such a long day!

Walker's Words of Wisdom

Last night Walker woke up about one hour after bedtime crying softly in his room. I went to check in and this is how our conversation went:

Me: Honey, you okay?
Walker: Mommy, when I get bigger, I don't want to live by myself.
Me: Okay honey. You don't have to. You can stay with Mommy and Daddy as long as you want to.
Walker: But God might move me.
Mommy: Oh honey, God won't move you if you don't want Him to.
Walker: So I can stay with you and Daddy and Trippy forever?
Me: Yes you can!

Ahhh, my sweet boy! I just love him so much. About a week prior to this, we had a conversation about if we would ever move again and I told him we would stay in our house until he gets bigger but that when he gets bigger he will go to school and live on his own like a big boy. So, I think this is where these thoughts came from. What a thinker we have...his brain amazes me!
