Our Handsome Boys!

This was on Sunday before Church. I am so happy I can match them in the cute outfits for at least a little while. Walker is wearing 5T and it gets harder to find the cute little matching outfits in that size....as long as I can, you better believe our boys will match as much as possible!! This morning we made it to 8:00 service!! That's really not a hard feat for us since we're up at 6 pretty much every morning!!!

Lounging in the Shade

This was this past weekend in Grammy and Grampy Denning's backyard. It was a gorgeous day. Walker was playing golf and baseball and we stripped Trippy down and let him enjoy this weather! Of course, he immediately did what he loves to do best....fingers in the mouth and grabbing the toes!!

Walker and His Friends

We had a playdate last week with some of Walker's friends from school. This year has been such a great year for him. We had a wonderful teacher and he is at that age where he loves to talk about his friends and what they play...it is so fun to listen to and watch! School is out for the summer and we plan on having regular playdates so he doesn't miss his friends too much!!!

Pictures of the Boys

Ahhh, brothers! I can't wait to see these two grow together and play! They already do have a very sweet relationship. I am truly blessed and happy to have two boys!!
Our sweet little boy and his sweet little rolls!!!

In the above two pictures, the boys were playing in the backyard. Walker has finally started to enjoy swinging....he never really cared to swing for the longest time. This afternoon, we put Trippy into the swing for the first time and he had a really good time! He just laughed and laughed!!

Tripp in his Bumbo seat. We never had one of these with Walker and it is the best thing ever! He loves to sit in it and be a part of things. He sits with me while I cook or clean and he sits at the table with us while we eat.

Four Months Already!!

I am 4 months old already (well, actually 4 1/2 now...Mommy is a little late posting pictures)! I am growing so much and getting stronger and stronger everyday. My doctor told me that my height and weight are in the 90th percentile! This makes my daddy very happy...especially the height! I can do all kinds of new things now. I can roll over to my tummy when I'm lying on my back and then I can roll back over to my back again (but sometimes Mommy has to help me with this part because it's a little bit harder for me to do). I found my fingers a while back ago and LOVE to chew on them! I also can grab toys now and put them into my mouth...yummy! And just recently, I found my feet!!! This was very exciting...I was very proud of myself!
I am sleeping better for the most part. I give Mommy 3 naps each day and usually lie right down without any complaints. I go night night around 6:30 every night and boy, I'm ready for bed!! I sleep great and usually wake up about 4:00 to 4:30am and I'm ready to party in my crib!! Mommy and Daddy don't like this and they usually either let me be and I might go back to sleep or sometimes they give me a bottle, and I go back to sleep for a little while. But, either way, Mommy and Daddy don't get me out of bed until at least 6am (but sometimes later) and I'm such a happy baby in the morning. I am excited in the mornings because after my bottle, my mommy lets me have cereal now! At first, I didn't really know how to eat it and spit most of it out. But, it's been a few weeks now and I'm getting really good at it and am eating lots of it!
I also am getting to know my brother more and more. I love to watch him and he likes to talk to me too! He gives me hugs and kisses and loves to show me off. I'm a lucky baby and am loving getting to know my family!

Tripp's Christening

Tripp was Baptized on Mother's Day, May 10th and the picture below was before the service just after I got him in his gown. The Christening gown is a Denning/Hays Family heirloom made by Tripp's Great Grandmother's mother and is over 50 years old!!! This is the gown that DJ, Dustin, Walker and now Tripp (plus all of the Hays siblings and cousins) have worn. It is absolutely gorgeous and so special because of the family history behind it. Since it is so sacred in the family, I was a nervous wreck putting it on, hoping not to tear the seams as it is so delicate. Tripp also kept putting those fingers in his mouth as you can see which didn't make it any easier!
The next picture was taken after the ceremony. Uncle Dustin is Tripp's Godfather and we couldn't be happier. He is a wonderful uncle and we know that Tripp will adore his uncle (and Godfather) as much as Walker does!

This last picture is of us and Great Grandmother and Grandad Hays. It is her mother that made the Christening gown and they are the best Great Grandparents!!!
